Blix’s Outreach for AMC in Prabhat School
Share

STEM labs in schools are not just about setting up equipment once and leaving it at that. We, at Blix know, these labs see daily use by students. And most importantly, kits, tools, and accessories go through constant wear and tear.
So ensure that learning never stops, a structured Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) becomes very important. At Blix we don't consider AMC to be just about replacing parts. We want the STEM lab to stay updated. It should be functional and must align with all the changing needs of robotics and STEM education.
How does Blix actually approach AMC?
We have designed our AMC in a way that the school’s STEM tinkering lab continues to deliver the same value it did on the very first day. And this really matters a lot to us.
We conduct quarterly and annual audits of the lab. Our team checks every component, documents damages, and evaluates usage. We check out cables and sensors and all the other components. The next step is, our team carefully noting the type of damage and its root cause.
This process just does not help us with replacement. It gives us real insights into how students are using our products in practical, high-frequency environments.
For example, at times cables wear and tear out from repeated plugging and unplugging. Certain parts may crack due to constant use in mechanical builds. Documenting these patterns helps us identify where spares need to be strengthened. And later, we make sure we do the right development in our products (spares).
So, what have we done at Prabhat School?
Recently, during our AMC at Prabhat School, our team carried out a complete audit of the lab. A number of spares and components had worn out due to heavy use.
Instead of simply noting the damage, we immediately replaced them with new parts.
Beyond replacements, we also upgraded the lab with improved versions of our kits and accessories. We make sure that any updates we make in our products, we pass it on to the school during AMC visits.
In this way, we just don't help with the maintenance part of the lab, we also give out the best of what Blix has to offer.
But, why does this matter? Especially for schools?
For schools, AMC is more than just a service. And we understand that. If looked into the nitty gritties of the process, it is a guarantee that their investment in STEM labs remains future ready. Teachers don’t have to worry about broken kits slowing down classes. And students can focus on what truly matters, that is, building, experimenting, and learning. With every audit, we ensure that the lab is safe, functional, and ahead of the curve.
Prabhat Scholars School is just one example. We have already set up labs in many schools, with many more still counting.
Each AMC visit reinforces our belief that maintenance is not an afterthought. But a part of quality education. And as we look ahead, our mission is clear, this year, we aim to reach hundreds of schools, making STEM and AI education accessible for every student.
Let’s join hands and make it happen. Together, we can ensure that the next generation doesn’t just learn about technology, but experiences it, builds with it, and innovates with it.
