Course Overview

In this course, the child will build robots using the Blix construction parts, and add intelligence to them using the Logic blocks. They will use real engineering components like sensors, motors, gears, buzzers, etc. to build 10 robots under the guidance of the teacher and another 10 as challenges, where they design and build their own robots based on a task. 
The use of such an integrated set of disciplines will give your child the foundational knowledge on STEM, STEAM, Robotics, and programming, and probably might turn out into their first stem into much more complex robotics and engineering. 
The Logic blocks course will allow your child’s curiosity to fester and develop their life skills like problem-solving, creativity, cognition, etc.

Course Breakdown

Session 1: Table Lamp

The table lamp is the simplest model to understand the use of constructional pieces, PCB blocks, Remover tool, Battery, etc.

Session 2: Smart Box

When we open the “Smart Box” the light turns on automatically. With this model, kids will understand the working of IR sensors.

Session 3: Autonomous Car

In this session, kids will be introduced to the motor and its functionality with the blocks. An autonomous car will stop when an obstacle comes and keep moving when the obstacle is removed from its path.

Session 4: Line Follower

Kids will build the logic for a robot that follows a line, just like an industrial robot.

Session 5: Challenge- Guard Robot

Kids will take up the challenge to design a patrolling robot to guard the treasure.

Session 6: Challenge- Edge Avoider

Kids will make a robot that will run on a table and it will not fall from the table. It has to detect the edges and save itself from falling off.

Session 7: Musical Robot

Kids will compose their own music by making notes on a sheet of paper, the robot will continuously read and create sound.

Session 8: Automatic Dispenser

This is a machine that dispenses candies. 
Its mechanism allows it to dispense candies one by one.

Session 9: Cliff Pusher

This is a robot that doesn’t like anything on its table, it pushes everything off it. This uses a crank & shaft mechanism to convert the rotatory motion into reciprocatory motion.

Session 10: Wheel Sorting Machine

Kids will make a “Wheel Sorting Machine” which separates wheels without tires from the wheels with tires. It’s a replica of a quality testing robot from an industry.
